Nurtured Cub Baby Slings Header

Wearing Instructions

  • Nurtured Cub Slings can be worn over either shoulder. Whichever way is most comfortable to the Wearer.
  • Using a sling takes practice but the payoffs are well worth it. For the first few times putting your baby in, do it over a soft surface such as a bed. Keep one hand on the baby especially when bending over until you feel more confident with your baby in it.
  • Make sure that there is an equal amount of fabric on either side of the baby when in the "Cradle hold", "Newborn Hold" and "Forward Facing" When in the “Forward Facing” position, cross baby’s legs and place in the pouch with bum lower than the crossed legs. This position is for older babies when their neck muscles are developed enough to hold up their heads.

  • Hold sling by the rings in front of your body.
  • Slip one arm through center of sling.
  • Slip the sling over your head. Metal rings should be resting just under the collarbone with pouch across your chest.
